My Story
Nestled in the heart of the Macedon Ranges in a small country town in Australia, The Woods Candle Co. is a family owned business where we draw our inspiration from our natural environment, as well as from the beautiful community of people we are fortunate enough to be surrounded by.
Here in Woodend, using only the best, Australian-made fragrances which are non-toxic and free from petroleum, palm oil, petrochemicals, phthalates & parabens,
I have thoughtfully created each scent to produce a range of unique, full-fragrance soy candles and diffusers to nurture, heal and inspire.
My Journey
Through years of building authentic, long-lasting relationships with the local community whilst being part of our family owned florist, Mum and I always dreamt that one day we would be able to put our passion into something different, being a humble candle business.
Sadly this dream was short lived, when mum passed away from a battle with cancer.
Mum would have always wanted me to follow my journey as a ‘maker’, so I became even more determined to build the business with Mum’s passion, strength, love and support.
I’m so proud of the products The Woods Candle Co creates and I will never forget the person who influenced me to make my dream come true.
Mum’s legacy will stay forever. With the way I run the business, I strive to do as she did in building relationships with all who find my candles in their home, and my desire to build on these relationships into the future.

Help support the Peter Mac Cancer Foundation
Not only am I passionate about creating amazing products for you to adore, I also want to share the love by raising much needed funds for the Peter Mac Cancer Foundation. Every year, I bravely lace up my sneakers to take part in the Melbourne Run. So far, my efforts have raised over $20,000 and I’m determined to keep going each year to raise even more.
This year, when you purchase one of my ‘In Memory Of’ candles, I will donate 10% of proceeds directly to this cause. To find out more about the foundation and maybe to even participate yourself, click here.
